Biography

Born in 1949 in Wroclaw (Breslau), Poland, I graduated from high school in Wroclaw in 1968. After that, I began a degree in teaching and obtained a diploma in handicrafts and art. In 1971, I worked as an elementary school teacher in Wroclaw and was the director of a youth center in the same city from 1972 to 1973. From 1974 to 1980, I worked as a speaker at the International Club for Books and Press in Wroclaw.

During this time, I was also active as a writer and had readings on Polish radio and television. Since 1980, I have been living in Germany and dedicating myself to painting. Initially, I faced some language difficulties, but since 1986, I have had exhibitions in various cities such as Oberursel, Erlensee, Bruchköbel, Schöneck, Bad Soden-Salmünster, Niderau, Frankfurt/Main, Hanau, Gehren, Wroclaw, and France. My paintings are an expression of my feelings, the language of my heart and soul, they embody imagination and poetry, as well as the problems that move the world. In addition to my paintings, I also create scarves, shawls, glasses cases, silk chains, postcards, and scented pouches. I use ten different types of silk and four different techniques. My works are based solely on my own ideas and are free creations, without templates. Each piece is unique!
